THE SHOW / BIO
One of the pioneers of Southern Rock are reignited and celebrated with energetic honesty by Scotland’s “mercurial & psychedelic” Safehouse + a host of Edinburgh’s finest musical additions join them in The Allmans Project. This is a vibrant and true to the legends performance of the songs and vibe, including their signature double drumkit and harmony guitars, without being an imitation ‘lookalike’ tribute.

A revolving line up provides this 7 piece with the flexibility to tour and travel internationally, which has been a great success at festivals in the Scottish Isles, England and The Netherlands in 2025. Fees are negotiable and will largely depend on the location of your venue/festival, and if shows can be combined with touring – help with or provision of accommodation is greatly appreciated with a 7 piece!
TECHNICAL
This is a two drumkit and two lead guitarist band, to stay true to the music of the Allmans, space and PA equipment (including foldback/stage sound) needs to be able to cater for this. Backline can be arranged per event. The core band consists of:

How the Allmans Project began
The project started after Allman’s tunes in Safehouse’s set became solid favourites for the band and audience alike. Instant enthusiasm from talks with an extra drummer & guitarist set the project off on what was to be a hugely successful trial run in 2007. A morphing line up of exceptional musicians, with core members including founding Blues’N’Trouble guitarist John Bruce and drummer Sean Scott.
